Dear Bosses:
After much deliberation and several face to face meetings that were unsuccessful in resolving my employment issues, I have decided to write you a formal letter. The following are the issues that I would like to see resolved in a timely manner.
- The work conditions here are deplorable. I do not have time to do the tasks assigned me for having to constantly clean up the messes that you make with no regard to my strict schedule.
- The non-ending bickering during the “board meetings” is very distracting. I am always put in the “peace maker” role which causes much stress between the three of us. I am consistently the bad guy and the one who takes the fall for your failures in obtaining personal happiness.
- When we all have to work out of the office, I am not responsible to purchase impromptu items for your personal enjoyment. We have a budget that does not allow for this. If I am forced to do this, other things must suffer. (For example: your lunch menu will decrease in options which I know will only cause more problems)
- I understand that at the beginning of my employment, longer hours were necessary as we acquainted ourselves with each other. But now my hours are from 6am-9pm. When you call me in the middle of the night to locate a missing piece of your personal project, I can not function in my job the next day. Please limit your requests within the posted business hours.
- When you request certain items to be served in the cafeteria and I scramble to make sure it is exactly the way you want it, it is frustrating for you to change your mind at the last moment and request something that the cafeteria does not carry.
- When everything is running according to schedule, do not come to my workstation and scream to me about what your partner is doing to you. I am focused on the task at hand and have no idea what happened and can’t play judge and jury for every one of your problems. Please work this out among yourselves.
- When we have an important meeting scheduled with a vendor, client or VIP, under no circumstances are you allowed to call in sick. You do this every time causing me to have to rearrange the schedule.
Thank you for your attention in these matters and I hope we can resolve these issues so that we may continue to have a productive company.
Sincerely,
Your Mother

You are the best lady!
I officially went on strike today, until my pay demands are met š
Oh I need a copy of this to send to my bosses, too!
I can’t wait until all of my bosses can read! Love you!
Let me know how that pans out! I am wondering how it was received, esp the point about the hours!
Peace!
