High Definition

I was watching TV last night and saw an ad for new sunglasses. High definition sunglasses.  I know that HD is all the rage right now, but sunglasses? As with HD TV they promised a better picture, more clarity and to be able to see things that you missed before.

Here is an example:

Without HD sunglasses.

Now with HD sunglasses

See how much clearer it is, vibrant and what all you were missing without your HD sunglasses?

OK on a more serious note (let’s start with an A flat)

I am struggling with lower back pain. I promise you I am not a wimp at all. Short of profuse bleeding and protruding bones, I can withstand about anything. But this…oy vey. Not good. I have talked to my OB this afternoon and she recommended getting a maternity belt before we try physical therapy. Supposedly this will hold my belly up (wonder if they sell them for the buttocks) and take pressure away from my lower back. I am going to run not walk hobble to the local maternity store and purchase one of these and I swear if it is a gimmick like the heat sensitive temperture monitor for bathtubs, they will have a grumpy, bloated chick to deal with.

Until then, some prayers for my back would be appreciated. Thankyouverymuch.

    1. I hope your back feels better soon, I went through physical therapy when I was pregnant with Noah, the therapist didn’t realize how difficult it was to move like she was asking me to while pregnant. I saw while back that Target carries the maternity belts, so you might call there to check prices before heading to the maternity store.

    2. How’s that maternity belt workin’ for ya? I always kept a chiropracter on retainer (*cough, choke, sputter*–well, I guess I wanted to!) for my pregnancies. Also, check out “Grandpa’s Garden” (dot com I think)…they sell an “herbal lap blanket” that is all the rage in our family. It’s probably 2 feet by 2 feet, you pop in in the mike (well, your hubby pops it in the mike) then drape it over your side/back as you lay on your side, snuggling a pillow and reading a favorite book. A foot massage by said hubby works wonders at this point, too! 🙂 Good luck!
