Hey everyone, it’s us!

Hi, this is Bug. I know that Mommy likes to write about her day, but for some reason she has locked herself in the bathroom and keeps screaming “WHY?” It also sounds like she is stomping her feet or something. So I thought I would write and tell you about our day yesterday.

The first fun thing we did was at breakfast time. Mommy made us orange sweet rolls with all that gooey icing. We both really like these, but found that when you rub the gooey side on the glass, you can make really neat paintings. Belly tried to do carpet rubs, but the rolls just kind of broke up.

After Mommy got our art work cleaned up, she took us to WalMart to get me some new panties and Belly needed some diapers and wipes. She had to climb on one of the shelves to get the size that Belly needs and I told her that I had to go potty. She didn’t seem to be listening to me and I really had to go. I noticed that there was a bunch of potty chairs on the shelf beside me. I guess a bunch of little kids have to go when they get back here. I selected the pretty pink one and went ahead and pooed in it while I was waiting on Mommy. For some reason, neither Mommy or that man who took the potty chair away looked very proud of me. My little sister clapped for me though.

We went to the grocery store next to get some tomatoes. I love the grocery store and smelling all the fruit. Mommy told me that different smells means different tastes. I was smelling an apple and it just smelled so good I had to try it. It was really sour so I just put it back. Mommy said that one was mine now and spent quite some time trying to find the one I tested. I thought it was funny. The I saw this really big, green piece of fruit. It must be special because it was bigger than my head! I tried to pick one up myself, but it was so heavy that I dropped it. I learned something new! Those big, green things have a pink inside and are really wet. Mommy had to call someone with a mop. I would tell you about what I did at the tomato stand, but that one seemed to make Mommy pretty mad so it must have been bad. I thought picking them off the floor was much easier than getting into those tall boxes.

Mommy drove home faster than usual and kept talking real soft to herself. I reminded her how good I was about pooping in the potty and she asked God to help her. She has been teaching us about him but I thought he lived in that place called Heaven and I didn’t know he was coming over today. I wonder how he is going to help Mommy. I asked her a couple of times, “God gonna help, Mommy” That made her start laughing so I guess I did good.

When we got home, she sent me and my little sister outside to play. That is always fun! I made a huge mud puddle by getting the water out of my pool and pouring it in the hole of dirt. I sat and played in it for a while, trying to see if I could turn all of my skin brown. I had to go to the potty and I wanted to make her real proud of me this time. I looked up and she was on the other side of the yard helping sister learn to ride her tricycle. I ran inside to do it all by myself. The mud was dripping off me, but I wiped the bottom of my feet just like she showed me to do. I went to the potty all by myself. I got mud on everything in the bathroom and I left marks all over the carpet, but I don’t know why since I wiped my feet. I was thirsty too, so I grabbed a jug of juice out of the fridge and took a drink. I guess I had mud on my mouth because it made the juice taste really bad. I put it back and went back outside. Mommy saw me coming out the door and told me to stand real still. She went inside and saw that I went potty all by myself and started crying. I guess she was real happy!

She hosed us off in the yard. While she was cleaning my little sister I thought I would help and wash off her chair that she sits and reads in when we are outside. I got a big pail of water and threw it on the chair. She screamed something and grabbed a book and her music box thing out from under the chair. It was all dripping wet and looked really clean, for some reason the music stopped playing when it got all clean. She then told us that we were really tired and should take a nap. Ever since then, she has been in the bathroom so I thought I would tell everyone about the super fun day we had.

  1. Oh my word, I haven’t laughed that hard at a blog post in maybe forever. I kept picturing the aisle at our WalMart where the potty chairs are and then a little girl pooping in them. Oh what a day! I would lock myself in the bathroom too. So glad you wrote about it, then you can remind your girls someday when they are mommies!

  2. ROFL! Just think how much fun 3 is going to be, unless however there are more than 1 in there! Good Times, Good Times!

  3. No way! This can’t all happen to you and the girls in One day!!!

  4. A potty is a potty is a potty! 🙂 At least it wasn’t a plastic tree! (Oh wait! It’s boys that do that!)

Most importantly...what did you think? Do you have questions and concerns or request for a certain post?
