I have a few more moments of relatively controlled chaos so I wanted to add to this.

This little boy that I am asking you to pray for has a heart condition and possible Down’s. This is an excerpt from his mommy’s blog

Today I am filled with emotions… God has asked us again to go through many trials with this little baby boy…Our little baby has a heart defect in the right atrium that most likely the prognosis is fatal at some point due to heart failure. The right atrium is enlarged causing the heart to work harder and blood is not going through the valve with ease ( she said the valve is almost sticking causing blood back up) Right now the baby’s heart is flowing across to the Left side which is normal and she said it is doing it without any turbulence. Also, she said that the baby is more than likely has down syndrome based on measurements in the baby’s fingers (she specifically said the pinky finger) She said an amnio would answer that and I said “no, the baby is Who God sent to us, I don’t need to confirm that.” More than likely, without a miracle, this baby will live for a while longer then have heart failure. IF I make it further along, I may be referred to a Prenatal Cardiologist to talk about options of helping this little guy,.

I ask that you lift her up in prayer. We know all about heart miracles in this family. Our own Belly was diagnosed with VSD and it was severe. I was “that” mom who dealt with the cardiologists, echos, discussions at the round table of surgery…but our prayers were answered and it was healed almost overnight. The cardiologists were left scratching their heads in scientific wonderment, but we knew…yes, we knew! The Great Physician did something that none of those patches could have done, He gave her a whole and healthy heart.

We pray that God touches this little boy and heals his heart. We pray that his parents are touched with grace, faith and strength. We are praying in faith for a miracle.

  1. I knew God sent me to your blog for a reason. I have a heart daughter too, our 9 year old. She had ASD and VSD and a cleft mitral valve. I will be praying for this family. God has their precious baby in His hands.

  2. i just want to thank you again.

    You rock!

Most importantly...what did you think? Do you have questions and concerns or request for a certain post?
