My friend, A, stopped by yesterday on her driving back home. After talking to her for almost 4 years and seeing hundreds of pictures of her family, I finally had the honor of meeting them in person. Many of you who read this know her as well, so I will dish out all the dirt about her here.

We had a wonderful time. The minute her boys hit the front door, the wild rumpus began. The oldest, G, has the sweetest personality. He is fairly soft spoken and gentle in his mannerisms. The youngest, N, is just a bundle of energy and mischievous. They both have the best smiles and are so loving. Bug and Belly were in heaven having someone each of their ages to play with. The one year olds, Belly and N kept pretty occupied with sharing a ball the majority of the visit. The three year olds,Β  Bug and G shared a train and played a non stop game of tag. After having nothing but girls in the house, I really enjoyed experiencing boys.

Concerning A and her husband T. I can’t think of nicer people. I was concerned that because there is about a 10 year age difference, that it might be awkward. Not a thing to worry about. They fit in as if they came over every weekend. Her husband and mine disappeared for about half an hour to do “man things” so A and I could have some “girl time”. Well, girl time also involved 4 kids running around so we did not do much talking. A has always been beautiful in her pictures, but she is certainly prettier in person. They are also wonderful parents. I can say that not because I witnessed any discipling or intense parenting, but because their boys are very well behaved and polite.

I really enjoyed them coming and hope we can do it again, real soon.
