Not Me Mondays is a blog carnival created by MckMama in which I tell you all the things that have happened in the past week that I am NOT guilty of. You can click on that big orange button above this to participate and see what everyone else has NOT been up to.
- Being a mother who wants her children to have some sort of class and trying to raise my children to be ladies, I did NOT allow the oldest to play naked outside, because this just is unladylike! Therefore since I did NOT allow that type of behavior, the following picture was never taken.

- In keeping with the ladylike image that I am trying to teach my girls, I did NOT allow the oldest to go without panties to the grocery store (because we had a little accident in the panties we left the house in) in which she did NOT pull her dress up a dozen times in front of other shoppers showing her “stuff”. She did NOT do this because I have effectively taught her about modesty.
- After days of rain and backyard flooding, I did NOT allow both girls to sit for hours in front of the television, watching Ratatouille back to back. I did NOT do something like this because I always have plenty of indoor activities planned and would NOT resort to digital babysitting.
- Because of the backyard flooding, I did NOT allow Sam (the dog) to go in the front yard to use the bathroom. I did NOT silently cheer when he chose to poop in the neighbor’s yard. I did NOT think it served them right for always letting their dog pee on my mailbox, killing the spruce I have planted there.
- After cleaning play dough stains off the kitchen floor, I did NOT throw it all away and tell the oldest I did not know where it was. This would be misleading to her and I would NEVER throw away any toy/craft that was too loud, too messy or generally irritating to deal with.
- After Bug playing too loud with her imaginary kitty cat (see this post) and it constantly running away. I did NOT put the “kitty” in a box for time out and ban them from playing together.

LOVE the last one. I think it’s time to institute a toy time out in this house! Er, I mean, I do not!
So glad you didn’t do any of these things! I might be worried about my grandchildren!! HA!
I have never resorted to digital babysitting. I have never felt panic when the TV broke. Nope, can’t relate. (Yeah, right!)
