Ahhh, another month has passed us by. We are this much closer to cooler weather. After spending the day yesterday outside in a humid, “feels like” 96, I can’t tell you how excited I am for Fall to come. Fall and Winter have all the good stuff. The kid’s birthdays, Thanksgiving, Christmas, fireplaces, decorations, hot chocolate, cozy sweaters, snow and most importantly, no sweating!
D has had some days off and Bug has been thrilled to spend some father/daughter time with him.
First she painted his toenails, toes, foot with her favorite color. It takes a secure man to wear purple toenail polish.

Then they spent the rest of the afternoon curled up together watching movies on the computer.

Bug has shown a real interest in playing piano. I have made her some sheet music that goes more by color than trying to learn the names of the notes at first. I am no piano teacher but it seems to be working. This is also the way I taught my nephew to play.

Look at that straight posture and hand position (So proud!)

So today is a holiday, but we are not going to do the traditional weenie roast. We are going to help D’s brother again and meet the little girls he is trying to adopt. I can’t wait to meet them. Then we have to do some cleaning tonight, although D doesn’t have to work so he will be able to help me.
Have a good holiday everyone!!!
