White Laundry

I’m dreaming of having white laundry,

And having all the dishes done.

Where my silver glistens

And children listen

Stopping fights before they’ve just begun.

I’m dreaming of having white laundry

And having a vacuum that won’t stop up

On the crackers and toys

It would give me such joy

If I could find the purple sippy cup.

I’m dreaming of having white laundry

All the grass stains to disappear

I need a bath full of bubbles

No toddler troubles

I will do the housework with no fear
