Mom Alycia had a house…

Sing-Along to Old MacDonald

Mom Alycia had a house, M-O-M-M-Y

And in this house she had some kids, M-O-M-M-Y

With a giggle here, and a giggle there.

Here a giggle, there a giggle, everywhere a giggle.

Mom Alycia had a house, M-O-M-M-Y.

Mom Alycia had a house, M-O-M-M-Y

And in this house she had a mess, M-O-M-M-Y

With a lost sock here, and a Lego there.

Here a smear, there a smudge, everywhere a handprint.

Mom Alycia had a house, M-O-M-M-Y.

Mom Alycia had a house, M-O-M-M-Y

And in this house she had some tantrums, M-O-M-M-Y

With a screech here, and a scream there.

Here a slap, there a pinch, everyone’s a-wailing.

Mom Alycia had a house, M-O-M-M-Y.

It’s a rainy day here and I am dreading trying to figure out things to keep us all busy and happy. Not the easiest feat, but hey…I am SuperMom, right?!? I shall reach into the Super Powers Bag and pull out my ammo of playdough (the carpet needs to be cleaned anyways) crayons, watercolors and whatever else I can find and come up with some amazing craft that will have all the best parenting magazines clamoring at my door to feature me…

Yeah, I am awake and not delusional.

I will probably spend the day with back to back viewing of some Pixar or Disney film, scrubbing playdough out of the carpet, stopping fights over who uses the purple crayon, pulling my hair out and screaming about how it is too wet to play outside, eating lots of junk food because tempers will not allow me to cook something wholesome and healthy, stopping more fights and finally collapsing in a weaping heap around 9pm.

Told you I was awake and not delusional.

By the way, I have a lemon drop stuck in my hair, given to me courtesy of Belly. At least it smells nice.
